Hi everybody, have you missed me? I know I have been a little absent on the blogging front. In the past three years I gave birth to two beautiful girls and my life has been turned upside down since. As I start settling into the life of a mother of two I have all kinds of plans to get my design business back on track. To start this new year and new lease on my creative flow me and 11 friends have decided to participate in a pattern sales event. Below, from the 8th through the 21st of January, you will find a daily link to a new pattern which has been discounted down to $2 during the course of the event.
Follow along each day by looking out for my daily Instagram posts and emails. On each patterns feature day, just follow the link under their pattern photo, and use the code NEWYEAR24. If you are unable to support us through buying this month (we all know how much we spend on patterns during the holidays), please give these lovely designers a follow on their social medias linked under their pattern link. A like can really go a long way to help with those pesky social media algorithms.
Today I am proud to be releasing this beautiful crochet Washcloth which is part of my bathroom series. This pretty cloth has the perfect texture to help with exfoliating and cleaning. Although the stitch looks complicated it is actually a really fast repeat which makes it perfect for beginners.
For the above-pictured washcloths, I was gifted Dishie by We Crochet. I have to say this yarn is beautiful cotton for durable cleaning products!
The colours pictured above are Swan and Linen. Dishie is a 100% cotton worsted weight (4) yarn. I would recommend anything being used for washcloths or cleaning, in general, being 100% cotton. If you are planning on making stripes, you will need at least two colours. Colour A: 109yrds Colour B: 46yrds The left washcloth is made with Colour A: Swan, Colour B: Linen The right washcloth is made with Colour A: Linen, Colour B: Swan

Meet the Maker
I taught myself to crochet when I was 30. My Mother was a great Crocheter and I wanted to learn. Later I taught my daughter to crochet when she was 8. We now crochet together and do Craft fairs.
I design patterns that appeal to me. I have finger puppets, bags, sweaters, stuffed animals, hoodies for both adults and children. I have a great shark hoody for kids. I love making things and the challenge of designing. I have had 2 patterns published in Annie’s Crochet! And I will have two more coming out in Crochet World next year.
Hearts full of Love Square
For Todays square you will need;
5mm (H) crochet hook
~100yards of red worsted weight yarn (or the colour of your choice. I used premier everyday red yarn.
The pattern reminds me of little hearts. As I made this square I thought of all my family and how much I love them. I am reminded of how much family means to us during the holidays and all year. That is why I call it hearts full of love. I hope you love it too.

Meet the Maker
I’m Beth, I’m 34 and live in a rural area of NSW Australia, with my husband Jon and dog Borgy. I live in one of the areas that snows here in Aus ( yes it does snow). I moved here to work in the snow industry.
I have been crocheting since I was about 23 yrs old. I was training to become a rock climbing instructor/ abseiling instructor and learned a lot of knots with ropes. I was sitting behind my mother a few weeks later in church when it clicked in my head that they were the same knots, just done with a stick. So I’ve been crocheting ever since!!
Over the last few years, crocheting has kept me distressed especially in the crazy world!! We went from bushfires, floods, Covid, and now back to floods. Each time it got too much I would pick up my hook and start something!
I like to make most, beanies, scarves, shawls, and blankets. Especially Celtic-inspired blankets at the moment.
I’ve designed a few mandala-inspired blankets in the past. I often will just crochet what feels right for me and forget to write it down. So losing my patterns!! Today is the release of my first pattern, but I am gearing up for many more. Follow my Ravelry to be the first to know!
The Celtic Chain Square
Today square is a filet heart surrounded by a Celtic weave stitch to border it.
Good morning everyone, today I am so happy to introduce an amazing new maker Jessica of Mora’s crochet. Today she is the featured designer in our Love and Joy Blog Hop. I hope you enjoy getting to know a new designer, scroll down to learn more about her and her designs and to get your FREE Pdf for the day!
Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Jessica, I learnt to crochet when I was 8 from my great grandma (who is still around today!). The first full project I crocheted was a scarf and after that, I’ve been hooked. At 27 I started to create my own patterns and post them online to share with others and love seeing others create my creations. I love creating one of a kind pieces for people to enjoy. My favorite things to create patterns for are things for my little who is 2 years old. She loves to touch all of mommies squishy yarn and look at all the colors.
I design hats, blankets, pillows and wearables for toddlers. My favorite thing I have designed so far was a car seat poncho. It made putting my little in and out of the car so my easier. Check out all these designs in my Ravelry store.
The Holiday Gnome Square
for today’s square, I created a gnome on a corner to corner background. Gnomes immediately make me think of the holidays and I feel I see them everywhere now. You will need:
100 yards of a worsted weight (4) yarn in Color A (I used Loops and Threads Impeccable in Forest Green)
50 yards of a worsted weight (4) yarn for Color B (I used Loops and Threads color Garnet )
150 yards of a worsted weight (4) yarn for Color C (I used Loops and Threads Impeccable in Gold)
and 1 yards of a worsted weight yarn for Color D (I used some scrap white)
Size G (6) 4.00mm hook
Optional small tooth comb (for brushing the beard).
This is my first blog hop and I am so happy to be participating! Please check me out on raverly where I will have the pattern free for today only! I also would love for you to check out my Tik tok. Help me reach my 1,000 followers, hopefully by the end of today so we will be able to finally do lives and chit chat!

This month I was asked by my friend Helen over at Sunflower Cottage Crochet to share a crochet pattern designed specifically for men. Of course, I had the perfect pattern I had been working on to share with you guys.
The Simple Scarf for him is a beautiful piece. This simple texture gives a more masculine look to the classic infinity scarf. Now I know a lot of people assume infinity scarves are for women, they are most definitely unisex. My husband loves wearing super oversized scarves wrapped triple!
This beautiful premium scarf pattern is available to purchase over on my Ravelry Store. But for today only (11/18/2021) head over to Sunflower Cottage Crochet to get a PDF copy of this pattern for free! Each day between November 17th- 30th head over to the blog hop page to get your daily code for the Just for Him event.
If you like the look of this event but do not have time to hop the blogs each day we have put all our patterns together in a bundle at a highly discounted rate. For just £8 (roughly $10) get all 14 featured patterns, plus 2 bonus patterns. If you are interested click the image below to find out more.
It’s time for my favourite season of the year! With that, of course comes, all the beautiful scarves. The pattern I am sharing with you today is actually one of the very first patterns I wrote. This scarf has always been a hit with all my customers but I have never gotten around to writing down the pattern.
Don’t forget to pin this beauty to make it easier to find later!

The lovely Fiona of Cosy Rosie UK has curated some amazing designers to bring you some simply gorgeous spring crochet patterns. Every day this month (April 2021), she will be sharing a new beautiful pattern at 50% off their retail price! These will be available for 24 hours only. As you may have guessed, today is my turn!
I would like to introduce to you today the first in a series of 4 shawl designs I have written for spring this year.
This pattern was made with the aim to create a triangle scarf without all that weight. When using shawls that double as triangle scarves, I always find they need to be bulky to hold them around your neck when wearing them in the opposite direction. This scarf is so beautifully lightweight you will almost forget you are wearing it!
For today only (4/19/2021), as a part of the Spring Exclusives event by Cosy Rosie UK you can purchase my premium pattern at 50% off. Go to Fiona’s main page to find out how to get todays exclusive coupon code.
Once you have your coupon, come back here to use that coupon. You can purchase my pattern through Ravelry.
I have more exciting news! If you like my pattern and have missed any of the days so far all the designers involved in this event have teamed together to offer a highly discounted e-book bundle. Unfortunately, the bundle is no longer available!
I love to see everything you create using my patterns, so don’t forget to tag me @bearrye #bearrye and share any projects you make on Ravelry!
