Meet the Maker
I taught myself to crochet when I was 30. My Mother was a great Crocheter and I wanted to learn. Later I taught my daughter to crochet when she was 8. We now crochet together and do Craft fairs.
I design patterns that appeal to me. I have finger puppets, bags, sweaters, stuffed animals, hoodies for both adults and children. I have a great shark hoody for kids. I love making things and the challenge of designing. I have had 2 patterns published in Annie’s Crochet! And I will have two more coming out in Crochet World next year.
Hearts full of Love Square
For Todays square you will need;
5mm (H) crochet hook
~100yards of red worsted weight yarn (or the colour of your choice. I used premier everyday red yarn.
The pattern reminds me of little hearts. As I made this square I thought of all my family and how much I love them. I am reminded of how much family means to us during the holidays and all year. That is why I call it hearts full of love. I hope you love it too.

Meet the Maker
I’m Beth, I’m 34 and live in a rural area of NSW Australia, with my husband Jon and dog Borgy. I live in one of the areas that snows here in Aus ( yes it does snow). I moved here to work in the snow industry.
I have been crocheting since I was about 23 yrs old. I was training to become a rock climbing instructor/ abseiling instructor and learned a lot of knots with ropes. I was sitting behind my mother a few weeks later in church when it clicked in my head that they were the same knots, just done with a stick. So I’ve been crocheting ever since!!
Over the last few years, crocheting has kept me distressed especially in the crazy world!! We went from bushfires, floods, Covid, and now back to floods. Each time it got too much I would pick up my hook and start something!
I like to make most, beanies, scarves, shawls, and blankets. Especially Celtic-inspired blankets at the moment.
I’ve designed a few mandala-inspired blankets in the past. I often will just crochet what feels right for me and forget to write it down. So losing my patterns!! Today is the release of my first pattern, but I am gearing up for many more. Follow my Ravelry to be the first to know!
The Celtic Chain Square
Today square is a filet heart surrounded by a Celtic weave stitch to border it.

Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Jessica, I learnt to crochet when I was 8 from my great grandma (who is still around today!). The first full project I crocheted was a scarf and after that, I’ve been hooked. At 27 I started to create my own patterns and post them online to share with others and love seeing others create my creations. I love creating one of a kind pieces for people to enjoy. My favorite things to create patterns for are things for my little who is 2 years old. She loves to touch all of mommies squishy yarn and look at all the colors.
I design hats, blankets, pillows and wearables for toddlers. My favorite thing I have designed so far was a car seat poncho. It made putting my little in and out of the car so my easier. Check out all these designs in my Ravelry store.
The Holiday Gnome Square
for today’s square, I created a gnome on a corner to corner background. Gnomes immediately make me think of the holidays and I feel I see them everywhere now. You will need:
100 yards of a worsted weight (4) yarn in Color A (I used Loops and Threads Impeccable in Forest Green)
50 yards of a worsted weight (4) yarn for Color B (I used Loops and Threads color Garnet )
150 yards of a worsted weight (4) yarn for Color C (I used Loops and Threads Impeccable in Gold)
and 1 yards of a worsted weight yarn for Color D (I used some scrap white)
Size G (6) 4.00mm hook
Optional small tooth comb (for brushing the beard).
This is my first blog hop and I am so happy to be participating! Please check me out on raverly where I will have the pattern free for today only! I also would love for you to check out my Tik tok.
