Sunny Sorbet Shawl

The Sunny Sorbet Shawl

After what feels like a very disappointing Winter this year I am ready to move onto spring. As part of the Design Create Repeat Spring Colours Blog Hop I have designed the perfect transitional wrap. This gorgeous design can double as a shawl or a scarf, making it perfect for the last of the snow and those chilly spring evenings.

With the prompt of ‘Spring Colour’ the idea of sunshine and daffodils jumped out at me. Using Paintbox Yarns Dk cotton yarn, I have designed this sunny palette with a very 70s vibe.

How long does it take?

Although it looks complicated this shawl uses a stitch called the side saddle cluster. It is a little time intensive but due to its repetitive nature it is a stitch which you can pick up fast and multitask while making.
Don’t have time to make it now? Pin it for later!
